1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Authentication Data: When you create an account using Email/Password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, we collect the email address and unique user identifier provided by the authentication service. We do not collect your real name, profile picture, or phone number.
• App Preferences: We store your selected preferences, such as followed leagues, clubs, players, muted sources, and notification settings.
• Support Communications: Any information you provide when contacting us for support.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Device & Usage Data: We use Google Cloud Logs and Firebase Analytics to collect basic device information (e.g., OS version, device model) and usage metrics (e.g., screens visited, feature interactions) to understand how the App is used.
• Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic data if the App experiences an error.
• Push Notification Tokens: We collect device tokens necessary to send you real-time transfer and injury alerts via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

C. Subscription Data

• We use RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions. We receive anonymous purchase states, subscription status, and entitlement identifiers. We do not receive or process your actual credit card or payment details; those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide, maintain, and personalize the FootPulse App experience.
• Deliver real-time push notifications based on your specific follow preferences.
• Authenticate your account across devices.
• Monitor App stability, fix crashes, and analyze usage trends.
• Process subscription entitlements.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party Content

FootPulse aggregates sports news and tweets from public sources. We use third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to generate short, 100-120 word summaries of these public tweets and to extract entities (e.g., players, clubs).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with essential service providers who help us operate the App:

• Google (Firebase & Cloud): For authentication, database hosting, analytics, push notifications, and crash reporting.
• RevenueCat: For verifying and managing in-app subscriptions.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your account data and preferences only for as long as your account is active.

How to Delete Your Data:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data immediately at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the App. This triggers an automated deletion of your Firebase and RevenueCat records.
• Web-Based Deletion: You may also request account deletion via our Data Deletion Request Form. Web requests are processed manually and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.

6. Age Requirements

The App is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page or via an in-app notification.
